JoeSCULPTOR & MOLD MAKER - COSTUME & PROP MAKER
As a young boy, Joe spent all his time building model cars and watching horror movies. In 1994, using his natural talent and attention to detail, Joe built his first Nightmare on Elm Street glove replica. Then came a Jason Voorhees mask. Joe was hooked. He began creating elaborate Halloween costumes every year (Freddy Krueger, The Crow, Michael Myers, Ghost Face). In 2007, Joe created his first “real”, full costume out of recycled materials, Optimus Prime. He was a huge hit at the Halloween event he attended with it, and met a Star Wars cosplay group who launched him into the world of costume and prop creation. Eager to become a real professional, Joe has created many screen-accurate costumes and props since then. A proficient carpenter, Joe has also built his own vac form table from scratch and specializes in molds. He is a fantastic weapon builder, well-known for his precision work.
